Comments
Comments: These trails were mainly dry but White Dot did have some small patches of black ice on the ledges. Nothing that warrants traction yet though. I had also forgotten how steep this trail is. Oof.

Descending Red Dot was a little treacherous due to the very steep grade and heavy leaf cover with rocks hiding underneath. Poles recommended.

Along Class 6. Rd. Trail I met Thom and Hunter who were out exploring the mountain. Hunter is a local and told me he's been hiking and skiing the Uncanoonucs for 50 years. We all hiked together for a bit and had some great conversation. Thank you gentlemen!

This is a much better peak than South Mtn. It's wilder, it has neither an array of towers nor an auto road, the trails aren't beaten up, and there's no litter.
