It was an amazing day for a traverse of the franconia range. I took liberty springs up and went out and back to flume to avoid the flume slide. I used my rock spikes for the ridge and to climb down from lafayette. There was a dusting of snow and some patches of thin ice. The section right above the hut is particularly icy. I had the ridge mostly to myself with only a few other people out. |
