Comments
Comments: A very interesting loop hike! The Cliff Walk section took longer than I anticipated due to the time I spent at the many excellent viewpoints, as well as the number of short scrambles along the route. The upper section of the Smith Summit trail required very careful search for the white dot blazes on the rocks which didn't appear all that different from small lichen patches in places, so this was also rather slow going. I was unable to find the upper end of the Old Halfway House Trail so I continued down the road a short distance to the obvious start of the Cart Path and followed it over to the Old Halfway House Trail.
