Comments
Comments: We hiked Hale via the Fire Wardens trail. We used light traction from the summit, down .3 miles. There was a thin coating of snow mixed with ice in this mildly steep section, and no clear places to step around it. This might have been overkill, but it made this descent super fast. The new trail work completed to permanently reroute the trail around the two crossings of the Little River is fantastic, and includes a ladder!
