Comments
Comments: Hodgepodge of shoulder season conditions.

Fairly dry down low with a carpet of leaves in places and some wet ledge. Patchy ice started maybe a mile or so up. The first side of angled ledges were damp, but the subsequent ones immediately after that switchback had some blue ice that was passable/avoidable with care.

Not too far from the summit, there was a straightaway angled ledge with wall to wall ice. Light traction recommended for this few dozen feet. Unfortunately, unprepared hikers were choosing to destroy what little bit of moss was on the side of the trail, which will make the situation worse in the future. Please don't destroy our trails for your lists.

Some patch ice between the peaks, as well as a few semi-frozen mud bogs. The chimney was ice-free with a few minor wet spots, while the chimney bypass was dry.

Did not encounter any snow or black ice. The remaining ice is blue ice, which is slowly melting in the above freezing temperatures. A return to freezing temperatures and/or any precip would certainly change trail conditions.

Nice fall day with above freezing temperatures and clearing skies. Lots of unprepared hikers (that will stop once Tripoli Road is gated).
