| Water Crossing Notes: |
All water crossings were totally fine/rock-hoppable, except two shallow (calf depth) ones on Unknown Pond Trail that had no rocks/logs to hop across. Might be able to find a better crossing nearby, but we were 0.5 miles from the end of the loop, so we just walked through in our boots. Clockwise loop or taking boots off here would be advised because of this. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
2 larger blowdowns along the Kilkenny ridge could become an awkward height in winter with more snow and large significant mud patches on Unknown pond (future bog bridges?)
Thank you! |

See note on river crossings..
A nice day to be out! Microspikes helped in some spots along the ridge but we could have managed without them. We were glad we had them though!
Snow is starting to accumulate along the ridge. Winter is coming! |
