Comments
Comments: I bare-booted the whole way. Things were a little muddy but overall mud was largely avoidable. There started to be some ice patches at ~3600 feet and there were a couple of sections near the top that were ice rivers, though not too challenging to navigate around. The Bondcliff summit above treeline was all bare rock. Since I didn't get to Bond/West Bond I'm not sure of the conditions there but another hiker I talked to said there was some ice. I thought this might be popular today but I only saw two other hikers the whole day.
