| Comments: |
The ledges of Devils Slide form a dramatic backdrop to the village of Stark. Trail starts up a logging road, but it looks like it has been years since logged. Foot path to the summit is clearly blazed in yellow with some orange flagging near the summit. Hike to the summit is fairly short with some steepness when approaching the top, but it is a very short section. Views of Stark and several peaks including directly at Mill Mountain. Technically, the summit is in the Kauffmann Forest (society for preservation of NH forests), which is next to the devils slide state forest. |
