Comments
Comments: Some icy patches on 19MB below the hut - small and few and far between. Some pretty muddy sections as well. More ice once we got above the hut, but still very patchy. We had microspikes with us but didn't feel the need to put them on at any point. Saw a few groups heading down from the hut early on in the hike, but then only four people the rest of the day. The grey jays were out in full force at the summit of Carter Dome, some dive bombing (we were not feeding them). Lovely hike overall!
