Comments: Donned microspikes at 4000’ kept them on until descending a little further.

Bypass to the chimney is broken out. No ice on it. We descended on the bypass, but took the chimney on the way back. Easily climbed with light traction. Would be safe to descend, but I couldn’t tell from the top so took the bypass down. Several folks turned around at the bypass.
