| Comments: |
We saw no one all day, a first for me on a 4K hike. The winds were whipping to 50 mph on both Moriah and Shelburne-Moriah. Going up Carter-Moriah was tricky with some ice on the slabs. Heading toward Shelburne-Moriah, you are quite exposed and the winds made it extremely cold for early- to mid-November. Views were spectacular on both peaks. Long day, came down in the dark. |
