I don't believe the trail was marked but is easy to follow and follows old roads. There are barriers placed at intersections of other old roads asking you to stick to the trail (private property). I do not recall any blowdowns.
Second hike of the day with the CCC after Imp Face for her 52WAV :) This hike was a dear friend's redline finish. Sooo happy to be invited and to be able to participate in it and catch up with many great friends :) This is a short and moderate hike to a nice view with some steeper pitches but overall very doable for all abilities. Great trail to finish on. I do not recall the ground surface but I'd assume mud. Lots of leaves too thought not too wet. Nice bench on the top by the view. True highpoint (not recognized) is just beyond. Gaia had us at 1.5mi, 650ft of gain. |
