| Comments: |
4.6 mile loop was mostly dry and in good shape. Dusting of snow in places, but not of significance.
Most of the trails were old woods roads, so the footing is generally good. Map of the trails at the kiosk in the woods beyond the trailhead.
Middle Peak had two directional views (Rocky Mountain and a somewhat non-descript view on the other direction). South Peak had a fantastic view of most of the Belknap Range and Crystal Lake. Did not bushwhack to the Cogswell highpoint.
Nice sunny morning with temperatures in the 30s. |
