Comments
Comments: Snow from the trailhead, became a little more significant as it went on. Wore spikes through all of Hancock Loop Trail --- put them on during the ascent of Mt. Hancock and took them off before the water crossings on the way back. Probably would have been fine without them, but would recommend using them. The snow consisted of grippy snow at lower elevations (icier on the way back) and powder/packed powder on the ridge. This may change with the freeze/thaw cycle. Gorgeous hike!
