Comments
Comments: Put on spikes soon after the second water crossing and wore them until I returned. More consistent snow done low than I expected, but didn't need my gaiters. Enjoyed this trail much more than from the ski slope. Ski trails were covered in snow and the lifts were running, I think I read on the website they are opening in a couple weeks. Ran into some folks, more coming up than going down, but the trail didnt feel busy. THere was a group of new winter hikers that got up the ski trail side and wished they had spikes. Ridgewalk to the summit was very enjoyable and a winter wonderland. Clear view out to Washington, the view was significantly better than I Remembered!
