Great views for a short hike! Coming down over the south ledges, Cardigan was particularly beautiful glistening in the distance! Minimal snow and I felt there was no need for spikes up to summit side trail. Beyond there more snow and ice has accumulated on the trail to the northwest ledges, but I never felt the need to put my spikes on. While the Green Mountains were already in the clouds, the view from the northwest ledges is well worth the short additional walk. |
