There was one glove near Zeacliff. I left it to grab on the way back down, but someone else had already gotten it. |

Bare-booted it until the last river crossing before the hut, then took spikes off again after crossing and left them off until the hut. Probably should have put them on for the stairs before the hut, as they were rather icy. Spikes went on and off a couple times after the hut, but put them on for good a bit before Zeacliff. Probably could have done with just rock spikes, but mine require a few too many zip ties to stay together, so I opted for my nicer spikes rather than risk the rock spikes disintegrating on me. Snow coverage is decent between Guyot and Bond, but elsewhere there was definitely a non-zero amount of metal-on-rock grimacing. Please be careful when making your way to the summit of Bondcliff from Bond, as it looked like most people had strayed from the trail in a few places (the fragile plants are still only under a couple cm of snow!) |
