| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Lots of spaces at Three Ponds (a few hunters) and about four spaces on Clifford Brook. Park in the marked area on Clifford Brook as there is no parking up ahead. You just gotta do the short roadwalk. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Ice - Black, Wet Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery, Slush |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Rockhops today. Sucker Brook may be more challenging when the rocks ice up more. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
No issues |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Mine had fun. Water was available but we had to kick holes in a few spots to get at it. No real steep sections. Good trail for dogs. Hunters are out, so blaze up. |

| Comments: |
I needed Carr Mountain for my WMNF trace so off we went, traversing W to E with a car spot. Spikes were put on at the top and removed about halfway through the descent. Probably the last hike of the year in trail runners for me... |
