| Comments: |
This was an awkward loop and OAB combination hike to close out the trails in this area. Most of the 9.6 miles were as flat as it gets, thanks to former logging railroad beds. The dry leaves are a couple of inches thick, so it’s impossible to see roots and small rocks, but no ankle twisters. The beavers have been busy and it was wet on the Guinea Pond trail on the approach to the Guinea Pond spur, but nothing too bad. A perfect weather day on a very easy series of trails. |
