| Comments: |
Carried spikes, but didn’t need them! No snow until near the outlooks. A light dusting on some of the slabs was completely melted by the time we were descending in the afternoon. The last 1.5 miles had some packed snow and occasional ice, but the snow was very grippy. Obviously, you need to carry spikes and might choose to don them at the beginning of the descent, but they won’t stay on long. |
