Comments
Comments: Another great Thursday, this year has been the year where Thursdays have been the best weather of the week.

Trail is real icy, definitely put the spikes on before heading up Avalon Trail. Yes its mix of rock and snow but there is enough ice to make it treacherous.

Several folks on the trails today including a FS employee. Unlike most mid week hikes, most of the folks were young. (trails during the week are typically "gray")

We skipped Tom as my friend had slipped and bashed a knee earlier.

Its been awhile since I have been up this route, lots of new well established herd paths and view points.
