Frozen and treacherous in the AM on the walk in. Creepers worked best since no snow depth. Once past the hut there was more snow and ice. Still the creepers worked great considering the amount of exposed rocks. Around the ladder area there were serious ice flows which required great care. After that it was clear sailing with 3" of packed snow. After lunch time alot of the ice had melted below the hut. |
