Comments
Comments: Typical shoulder season conditions. Plenty of leaves and mud for the first 2-2.5 miles. Then trails had a dusting/minimal snow. There was some ice here and there, but I did not put on my spikes until the hut. There was significant ice before the hut, but was able to navigate around. Was very happy to have the spikes on for the .50 mile from the hut to the summit. All water crossings were easy to walk across the rocks. Quiet day out there...only crossed paths with 5 others.
