Comments: Finished the Osceola's pretty early so decided to get Tecumseh for my fall grid as long as I was there. First time on the Mt. Tecumseh Trail, I did it from the west on my first round. Really like this trail down low through the trees....the upper part on the other hand may as well be stairway to Mordor. Really nice trail construction, but not a huge fan of walking up a mile of steps. Maybe I was just tired and grumpy since doing this after the Osceola's is a pretty big day, but I definitely prefer the western approach.

Small patchy ice once you get some elevation that is all bare-bootable, with some areas of thicker ice with rocks poking through, and a couple longer trickier 10'-20' sections. My spikes never went on on the ascent. Donned them a couple times coming down for safety, was getting pretty tired and the concentration required to bareboot was getting to me. Still slipped a couple times just due to fatigue. It's that time of year - let your guard down for just a second and pay the consequences.
