Quiet day out in the woods. Barefooted up to the hut. Microspikes went on soon after. Caught an amazing sunrise at the first vista. Most of the hike it was lightly spitting snow. Trace amounts of snow and ice on Twinway and North Twin Spur. Saw the first hiker of the day on North Twin summit. Then started to see a few others on my way back on Twinway. Got twenty miles in before 2 o’clock. Great day out! |
