Additional note to Rocket21 thorough trail conditions report:
The trail from north to south Kinsmen had only about half a dozen stretches of blue and black ice with no easy work arounds, but the majority of the trail had better terrain conditions than the ascent to North on the ridge. Our group used microspikes and Hillsounds.
Congratulation to the woman who gridded the 4 season 48s over 70 yrs old. We were honored to be part of her trekking pole arch to her last summit! And the sun popped out for awesome views! |
