Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Had to do a bit of searching on both to find a spot to cross that would keep our feet dry. Taller people might not have as much trouble. The Sandwich Dome crossing was a bit easier than the Drakes Brook crossing, but on the latter, someone has placed a cairn about a quarter-mile downstream from the actual crossing that appears to be a relatively easy rock hop. We had already crossed.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Sandwich Dome could use a refresh on the trail markers up to the wilderness boundary, especially at the stream crossing and a bit further up. Otherwise trails are great.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Only met two other pups today (but oddly did not run in to many people either…). Plenty of fantastic smells, though (according to ours, anyway).

Comments
Comments: Great day to do this loop! Tons of sun, the wind was mostly higher up, and the temps were reasonable. Water crossings required some scouting work to keep the feet dry, but otherwise not bad.
