| Comments: |
First half mile just wet leaves. Loose granular snow until about 2800ft elev. Last 1000 ft elev was mixed between snow and ice. The snow wasn't packed, probably about 1/4 inch near the summit but it was flurrying and snowing on the way down so it could have changed. Ice was manageable on the ascent. Ended up bare booting the descent as well, but highly recommend light traction equip on the descent. Buddy used spikes basically the whole way. |
