Comments
Comments: Brought spikes but barebooted the entire day. I'd still bring (rock) spikes because what's dry now can glaze over by the next day.

There's a pretty well defined herd path out to NW from maybe 50 yards past the N summit heading south. We did not manage to find that initially nor stay on it consistently heading out. There may have been competency issues. Bottom line: stay on the ridge and even if you lose the herd path you should be able to pick it up again. 2h30 outbound, 1h20 returning; you can draw your own conclusions :/ We contemplated dropping down to Cedar Brook Trail returning from NW summit, but the sun was getting low and we were having better luck just schlepping back to North.
