Fresh snowfall today. Conditions are not too bad, some ice under the snow but for the most part the thin covering did the trick and kept the footing comfortable. Microspikes helped on the decent down a-z, but I did not use them up until then and it was mostly fine. I haven’t done a lot of winter hiking but felt totally comfortable on this one, would reccomend it to another winter hiking newbie. |
