We were a group of 3, and we saw 3 other hikers, plus a family of 5 with a dog, on Thanksgiving morning. Trace amounts of snow at the trailhead became less than 3” powder at the Starr King and Waumbek summits. We wore light traction starting at about halfway up to Starr King, and that was more than adequate.
