room for a few cars outside the gate to Walker Brook Rd - but, I would only try to park there with 4WD and snow was crusty and icy |

flagging was sporadic - some places lots of flagging, other times we really had to look around for it |

Good day to (re)visit the crash site but pretty challenging crunchy snow conditions - very uneven along road and big plates of not very deep crusty snow. I really had to take time not to damage my ankles further. Ascent was challenging at times. Lots of the debris might have been covered up but we could still see the big pieces. Could have used traction or snowshoes above 2000' but didn't - just barebooted it. |
