All the little streams were flowing, but easy to step across. |

Good condition. Larger blowdowns have been cut. |

| Comments: |
Started out bare boots. Changed to microspikes. Shallow, crusty snow above about 1,500 ft. Only one or two people had on the trail in boots, plus us two following to make a good path in the crusty snow. You shouldn’t need snowshoes until the next snow storm drops a few inches.
I expected ice in the box canyon, but it had snow with good grip. Beautiful trail and great views at the ledges just off the summit. |
