Nice quick out and back with excellent 180 degree views from Moosilauke to Chocorua. Small summit area with cairn doesn't accommodate many, but there are other areas near the summit with good views to hang out if it is busy. Not too busy today though because it was chilly and breezy. Also a nice southerly outlook 1.5 miles up with great views over Squam and Winnipesauke lakes where we ended up having lunch on the descent. Mostly leaves for the first mile but then turns to soft, shallow packed snow and some icy slabs. We did not wear traction being careful with foot placement but saw others wearing them.
