Pleasant white-lining excursion through the Randolph Community Forest. Barebooted the entire hike. The only slippery spots were on the Ledge Trail, just below Lookout Ledge and the upper section of the Notchway. The trails are covered with a thin coating of crunchy snow and leaves. There's a lot more timber harvesting than I remember in the RCF and a few more houses, but the place's character is pretty much the same as on my previous winter jaunts. |
