Comments
Comments: Decided to head up Jackson after the morning on Cannon, beautiful weather over in Crawford notch. Spikes all the way. This trail is very well packed and quite level, more so than Cannon so it was a real treat moving so quickly. A few more rocks poking through here on the lower half, but all really avoidable. A good layer of ice beneath the snow in most spots. Steep sections before the summit were easily managed. Met two women in snowshoes who said they came from a less broken out Mt Pierce, so I'd pack the shoes just in case you're planning more than Jackson at this time. A beautiful day, the views were epic from the summit!
