Comments
Comments: Carried snowshoes but didn't need them. Used our beater micro spikes for the majority of the hike. The trails were tracked out and mostly firm. The first and last 1.5 miles were leaves, exposed rock and patches of snow. Once there was more snow coverage, 1-2 inches, we wore spikes. As we climbed the snow depth increased to 4-6 inches. There were some sections with snow over ice, but the spikes did the job. Along the Rollin Trail, there were areas of loose granular and fresh powder. The ledges on Blueberry were manageable, minimal ice, some snow. The same with the ledges climbing up to the summit of Passaconaway. Dicey's Mill was well traveled and easy going. Great day for this 11.5 mile loop. Looking like there could be 8-12 inches of new snow coming in on Sunday-Monday.
