Road is closed, but lot is in good shape at the moment. Gonna get icy when the temps drop though. Be careful! My Corolla did fine. |

All easily hopped today |

One tree overhead, but will be a duck under once the snow accumulates. The usual areas that don't drain are a slushy mess with some spots of bare rocks. |

Lots of fliers today with the warm temps. Ran through several spiderwebs as well. Just a jerk move for December! |

| Comments: |
Started late and the melt was in full swing by the time we hit the switchbacks. Pretty much got rained on from the trees the whole time. Down low was icy, but never enough for spikes. About two miles in we opted for snowshoes to stop the sliding around. Wore those the rest of the way up and back down until maybe a half mile from the first water crossing. Saw no one else today except a couple just walking the road. Snow is deeper than I expected above 3000' and the snowshoes were a must up there. |
