Comments
Comments: Nice hike for a gray day , started out in light traction due to ice but the first mile is a lot of leaves and rock. Snow cover picks up as you acsend, put snowshoes on at Zeta Pass to the summit and left them on back down to 2nd crossing on Carter DOme --Bony on carter dome but shoes felt comfy .Snow conditions are wet and heavy so the snow shoes worked well. Wet day with fog , high humidity ,kept all my extra layers in plastic bags otherwise things get soaked .Fun day on a beautiful 4K.
