| Comments: |
At the trailhead the freeze thaw had left patchy slippery ice. As we climbed the quantity of mashed potato snow increased, and up on the ridge there was about a foot of slightly sticky powder. The trail was well packed by the end of the day and snowshoes came along for the ride. Melting and precipitation could make some of the steeper parts with exposed rock up on the ridge slippery in coming days. |
