Comments
Comments: We wore snowshoes from start to finish. It was a little bony at the start, especially at the water crossings. Televators were a great help on the steeps. Snow was frozen granular in the beginning and became more powdery/sticky following the junction with Scaur Ridge Trail. There were small patches of ice here and there, mainly on the steeps/rock scrambles of course. However, most were avoidable. With the warm temps, conditions became more slushy on the way down. Overall, conditions were pretty good, but the trail is still a bit unconsolidated. It needs a bit more snowshoe love. With the snowstorm approaching, wear snowshoes and create that beautifully packed treadway we all love in winter!
