Comments
Comments: I guess this was sort of an attempt. More of a you-can't-get-there-from-here.

At the top of Catamount Trail where the huge cairn is, and where the trail turns and drops off the ridge, the informal path leading ahead to the summit now has a "do not enter" sign, stating that hikers are leaving the state park. This is a little weird as both the state park map and the local tax maps show that the summit is on state land. The informal path is also marked as "private trail" on Gaia. So, I dunno.

Anyway, these trails were fairly wet after the storm, which brought mainly rain to this area. There were a few patches of snow here and there but they were melting quickly. With tonight's colder temps that could mean some icy bits tomorrow.
