Trail Maintenance Notes: The only notable blowdown I recall was on Nancy's Trail. It had been trimmed for easier duck under access but will be an issue if we ever get deep snow.

Comments
Comments: A nice five-ish mile tour through Nottingcook Forest with friends this morning.

Trail were wet with areas of mud and standing water. Steer Brook had the most water in it that I've ever seen; it's usually dry or just a trickle. Wolfe Cascade Brook was also flowing well and was living up to the cascade part. No snow or ice around these parts but snow would be welcome to cover up the hazards under the leaf cover. I did take a little tumble on a wet root.

Nice to catch up with Jim and Sue and good to meet Frank out there.
