19 Mile Brook had one set of snowshoes to Carter Dome Trail. The rest was broken out by me. It was a long day but I had some great views. I wore my snowshoes from the Parking lot all the way to the chairlift on Wildcat D. The snow was sometimes up to my knee. Hiking Up Wildcat A was insane. lots of snow. The Ridge had drifts broke those out pretty well. You should have a nice path from A to D. Out and back route so the ridge should be in really awesome conditions for Snowshoeing the wildcats. Didn't see anyone the whole day. You cannot do down Wildcat Mountain during skiing operations so plan accordingly. |
