It was a great day in a winter wonderland! With the fresh snow on the trees, and snow in the air, it felt like we were in a snow globe all day! Speaking of fresh snow, we used our snowshoes for the entire hike. There's finally enough snow on the ground to fill everything in nicely. We stayed away from the ski tracks on Livermore Road not to ruin it for everyone.
The Kettles Path had one solo person with snowshoes! Hooray! Hopefully a few more snowshoes pack the trail down after us and it will make a fantastic base for the rest of the winter.
The views from the sunny ledge [2,230’] has nothing second rate about them! |
