Comments
Comments: Great day on trail. Several cars in the parking lot and several groups ascending/descending due to my very late start (after 11). Saw somebody camping literally two feet off trail which is wild because I’m not sure why anybody would want to camp next to such a busy trail (also it’s illegal). Several people wearing snowshoes today but more people in just spikes. Both worked and it came down to preference. I wore spikes all day and didn’t post hole once (so don’t come for me @ the snowshoe police). Prime conditions and pretty views of the trees covered in snow, total whiteout at the top. Less snow at the bottom resulting in a decent amount of rocks protruding through the snow. Higher up had significant more coverage and the trail was fully filled in with snow. Might have to get back out here before the warm temps and rain ruin the conditions
