Carter Dome is broken out.. bony conditions on 19 MB to Carter Dome trail.. spikes would work better here.. shortly after taking the Carter Dome trail, snowshoes would be the most efficient footwear here to the summit of Carter Dome…some deep drifts... there were tracks headed north to S Carter.. did they go all the way to N Carter?
