Echoing the comments left by "Danielle" for Dec 6th. Snowshoes start to finish for me and happy I did. The trail is pretty well packed in some areas but could use a day or two more of snowshoes to really get it in shape. Televators were a huge help given the steep grind of this trail. Saw ~10 people, 8 with snowshoes and the other 2 were carrying theirs. They'd apparently been struggling with them on the way up (first winter 4K I think she said, not sure they had televators or more just more flat paddles), so they ditched them and used spikes. At least they tried. |
