Nice semi packed snowshoe track all the way. Lots of unconsolidated powder. We aimed to do the loop but when we got up to top of little Haystack, it was very windy and drifted deep, we knew that the trail would be disappearing in places and wind too spicy and cold. A few other midweek hikers out there. Only one fast and light person went the whole loop, (that we know of.)Seemed like most were coming back down. |
