Did this route CCW, bare booted road walk from the gate and very little snow on the start of Garfield trail.
Was able to bare boot for 3.5 miles and then the snow shoes came on for the rest of the hike. Garfield trail
Was broken out all the way to the summit. Broke out Garfield Ridge trail all the way to Gale River trail junction.
Gale River trail is broken out all the way to the hut. Frost Trail to Galehead summit is broken out.
Most people wore snow shoes today. |
